Brothers in Arms

Brother in arms

This goes out to our troops overseas
serving in the United States military
Air Force, Navy, USMC
The Coast Guard and the Army
You all served us so honorably
But we wish you were home
With your family

You do your best
To make us proud
You don’t complain
We don’t know how
You stand for everything we believe
Our freedom, our courage, our sanity

We know it’s your job to go out and fight
And protect us from all that isn’t right
But we wish you were home at the end of the night
To keep us warm and turn off the light

Our husbands,
Our fathers,
Our brothers in arms

Chorus:
Brothers in arms
We want you out of harm
To keep us safe at home
Until we weather this storm

Brothers in arms
We want you safe
But we know the challenge you must face

Brothers in arms
We love you so
We know the reason you must go
We hope that one day we can show
How much we appreciate you so

Our Brothers in arms

You do your job everyday
For a lot of pride and a little pay
But I know that you find a way
To stand up and be brave

We salute you on a few holidays
Bring you home and put on parades
But I can’t think of a better way to say
Thank you for the courage you display

We stand by your side and pray
You come home as soon as you may
And get you out of harm’s way

We love you
Our brother’s in arms

Chorus: (Repeat)
