Plants Don’t Punch

Plants Don’t Punch
They swing but they usually miss
And they never aim
Plants don’t hit
They don’t cause pain
They just stand there
And soak up the rain
Plants don’t hurt
And you can’t hurt them
No matter how you cut
They grow back again
Plants don’t cry
Not a single drop
But they are full of water
From root to top
Plants don’t scream
They don’t shout
They don’t complain when
when there is a drought
Plants don’t get angry
Even if they did
You would notice
What they said?
Plants aren’t mean
They don’t attack
And when you step on them
They don’t fight back
Plant don’t punch
But if they ever do
Be kind to them
And they will remember you.
