When I’m 6

I want climb the ladder but I’m too little
I want to cross the street but I’m too little
And I want to stay up late but I’m too little.
But tomorrow I’ll be 6 and then I’ll be big
When I’m 6 I can go to 1st grade
When I’m 6 I can walk to school.
When I’m 6 I can go across the monkey bars.
When I’m 6 I don’t suck my thumb anymore.
When I’m 6 I’ll be a big girl
Uh Daddy can I sleep in your bed tonight?
Tomorrow, I’ll be too big.
