I wish

I wish I had a puppy
I wish I had a bike
I wish I had a new hat
And new shoes that I like
I wish I wish I wish
And then I wish some more
I wish for everything I want
And even things I’ve had before.
I close my eyes and wish really hard
and hope for a racing car
But it never seems to appear
And I’m just left standing here
Maybe I’ll wish I disappeared
